Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to services and products provided by Korean Learning Club.

By purchasing, booking, subscribing to, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights provided by Dutch or European Union law.

1. About Korean Learning Club

Korean Learning Club provides Korean language education, including private lessons, group lessons, online courses, memberships, and digital learning materials.

2. 1:1 Private Lessons

Private lessons may be purchased individually, as part of a package, or through a subscription where available.

Lesson availability depends on the instructor's schedule. Students are responsible for attending lessons at the agreed time. A private lesson may be rescheduled without charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. A change or cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice, or a no-show, is normally treated as a used lesson. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

If the teacher cancels, we will first offer a reasonable replacement. If that is not possible, we will provide a credit or proportionate refund for the affected lesson.

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund conditions are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

3. Group Lessons

Group lessons take place according to a predetermined schedule. Because group lessons involve multiple students, lesson times cannot normally be changed for individual participants.

A 12-week group course includes 12 live classes scheduled for 90 minutes each. Classes run for 60 minutes when exactly 2 learners are enrolled.

If you miss a group lesson, the date cannot normally be changed and no attendance-based refund or credit is provided. Where included, a recording is made available only to enrolled students in that group with current access. A minimum number of participants may be required for a group course to take place.

4. Memberships and Subscriptions

Some Korean Learning Club services may be offered as recurring subscriptions. The price, billing frequency, included services, and applicable cancellation conditions will be shown before purchase.

Where a subscription automatically renews, this will be clearly communicated before purchase. You can cancel at any time through My Account or by emailing yurimkorean00@gmail.com. Seven days before the next billing date is a recommendation, not a condition that blocks a later cancellation.

Cancellation of a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically create a right to a refund for services already provided, except where required by law or stated in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Digital Learning Products

Korean Learning Club may offer digital products including workbooks, PDFs, word books, videos, recordings, exercises, and other learning resources.

Digital products are intended for personal educational use only. You may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, upload, publicly share, or commercially use these materials without written permission from Korean Learning Club.

Any applicable statutory withdrawal rights for digital content are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and during checkout.

6. Payments

Prices are displayed in euros unless otherwise stated. The total price and any applicable taxes will be displayed before purchase.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Korean Learning Club does not normally receive or store your complete payment card details.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, statutory withdrawal rights, and digital product refund conditions are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. The Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

8. Lesson Recordings

Group lessons may be recorded to give enrolled students missed-lesson review access. We aim to record the teacher and lesson materials and minimise student screen and voice capture. A visible and spoken notice is given before recording starts.

Recordings are available only to enrolled students in the relevant group with current access. They may not be downloaded, copied, published, forwarded, redistributed or shared. Access ends 30 days after the final course lesson and recordings are scheduled for deletion within 60 days after that lesson, subject to limited legal-retention exceptions described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, lesson slides, worksheets, exercises, videos, recordings, graphics, downloads, website content, and other original learning materials are owned by Korean Learning Club.

Purchasing a service or digital product gives you a limited right to use the materials for your personal learning. Ownership and intellectual property rights are not transferred to you.

10. Student Conduct

Students are expected to communicate respectfully with instructors and other participants.

Korean Learning Club reserves the right to remove a participant from a lesson or community where their behaviour is abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or seriously disruptive. Any refund in such circumstances will depend on the circumstances and applicable consumer law.

11. Changes to Lessons or Services

Korean Learning Club may occasionally need to change lesson schedules, learning materials, instructors, course content, or platform features.

Where a significant change affects a service you have already purchased, we will inform you and provide an appropriate solution where required.

12. Liability

Korean Learning Club aims to provide high-quality educational services and materials.

Language-learning results depend on many factors, including attendance, practice, study habits, and individual learning progress. We therefore cannot guarantee a specific learning outcome or level of proficiency.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

13. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any mandatory rights available to consumers under Dutch or European Union law remain applicable.
